It’s not fair!
How many times have you heard that statement?
Especially as a child when you wanted that freshly baked treat, but we’re told no because it wouldn’t be fair for you to have one before everyone else. So you had to wait. Or when one of your siblings or friends was allowed to do something and you weren’t. It was hard to accept.
What about the thing that stretches our understanding more than anything? The thing that makes no logical sense. One word: Grace.
The people who don’t deserve it or have any desire for it and yet have complete access to it.
No strings attached.
This is love exposed to another level.
This week the challenge is to love with no strings attached.
Don’t let the excuse that if I can’t do it for all I just won’t do it. Instead, look at it as I will do for one what I hope and/or would like to do for all.
Let’s eliminate the “fair” excuse and respond with love and grace.
Verse of the week:
Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
