focus concept in wood type

Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them.
- Henry Ford

Let’s face it, we are really good at excusing our way out of facing difficult situations, especially when that difficult situation coincides with a flaw in our own life.

We want to be seen as all together, fine, “good” and even perfect. Within all of this, there is a massive insecurity that can grip us and cause our focus to become blurry. This is why constant evaluation is so important.

To solve the problems that need our attention, here are a 4 suggestions to focus in on:

1.) Have someone in whom you trust be your sounding wall.
(this person must be able to say what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear)

2.) Learn the facts.

3.) Know your limits.

4.) Commit to your decision.

This week clean the lens of your mind and heart through prayer so you can focus with great intensity on the areas that need your attention most.

As you respond, may your conversation be always full of grace.
