Access Point | 1441 | Communicate

Old phone on the destroyed wall

That which is not said, remains lost.

We often assume to know what others are thinking, from their reactions and expressions, however those are only our own assumptions. Assuming is known to make our reflection look like that of a donkey.

This week lets intentionally communicate well.

Make clear what you need from others.

If you are uncertain, ask questions.

Do not assume you know what the other person is thinking or feeling.

Reiterate the most important things.

What is the message you are sending to the people around you? Are you relaying a positive message or do you tend to be more negative? We are not perfect but we are in process. Help those around you this week make some progress by building them up.

This Access Point requires patience, self-control, forgiveness, honesty and humility.

Verse of the week:

Ephesians 4:29

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
