Have you noticed how annoying alerts can be?
Most times these alerts will sound-off at the most inconvenient of times. But… is that not the point?
They are meant to get our ATTENTION and bring awareness to a situation, appointment and/or emergency.
We need alerts in our lives to act as a protection as we continue our mission. Just as people have smoke alarms in their home, the only time they remember that these alarms are present, is in case of emergency, or if the battery is low.
What do you need to place in your life that will alert you that your attention needs to be refocused?
When we are alert we are aware, and when we are aware of what is happening around us, the opportunities of progress and growth will not be overlooked.
The challenge this week is to stay alert. Be intentional not only about ‘who’ and ‘what’ is around you, but also make a point to shine your light in every opportunity.
