Each of us carry talents and abilities that have the power to change and better the world that we live in.
We are stewards of these gifts and must not be afraid or insecure in living them out.
‘Talent is a piece of God’s shadow. And under that shadow, human stories intersect’.
~ Mitch Albom
The challenge this week is to honestly answer this question:
Am I using the talents God has given me?
We canot bury these talents and wait for a better time. Our next breath is the perfect time to live out our mission and share with the world the gift of our life.
We are vessels – the hands, the feet, the voices and the communities that share the message of the One who has sent us.
No one else can use the talents that we have been given other than ourselves; so if we don’t, who will?
God, give the strength to stand firm in your truth and respond to where are leading.
Verse of the week:
The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
