Let’s talk about generosity.
The difference between generosity and helping someone out typically involves expectations.
The challenge this week is to know when and how we are being called to be generous. The kind of generosity that requires sacrifice – being willing to give of something that we have without any expectation of anything in return.
It’s the moment when we feel in our hearts that we must respond to meeting a need.
When we have this concept of generosity as an option we will find ourselves becoming aware of opportunities when we can be a blessing to others.
In this Access Point we want to look at areas in our lives that we are being generous with no strings attached.
Take some time this week to reflect and see where you can be sacrificially generous for someone that would help them advance their mission. Don’t look for for how you can benefit, but instead, look to where you are being called to make a difference through your generosity.
‘We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give’.
Verse of the week
Honor the Lord with your wealth then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.
