In the beginning of every year it is almost certain that most us will think about how this next year could be different. It’s sort of like an opportunity to ‘reset’.
Just as an odometer has a reset button, it will only work for the specific trip you are tracking. It will not change the
the actual amount of miles you have put on the vehicle.
Here’s the challenge.
Hit the reset button today. Track as much as you can over this next week, such as:
- Where you spend your time
- What you spend your money on
- What you eat/drink
- When you get up and go to sleep
- How many times you find yourself in a great mood
- How much time you pray
This reset, if we are willing to evaluate our actions, will help us better spend the gift of time as we move ahead.
We make time for the things that are most important to us. This opportunity to reset will help us put the things that really matter most, at the beginning of everything we do, say and think about.
Have a great week!
Verse of the week:
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
