Any time we have produced a project, there is always a need for editing. The edit is such a crucial step that if not done with diligence, the project may fall short of it’s potential. The edit is required in written documents, photography, music, movies and pretty much everything in between.
What about us?
Should we be spending any time editing our life?
One definition of edit is to revise or correct. Hmmm, if we’re honest that doesn’t typically sound like a good or fun idea. However, if we know the master editor, that is a game changer. This editor is clear yet patient, forgiving and supportive, honest and committed and most of all knows the absolute best flow of every chapter of our story.
The challenge this week is to spend some time with the Master editor (Pray, Reflect, Act, Repeat). Look at what is working well and what may need some changes. Do whatever it takes to get back to the story we are meant to live and tell about.
Verse of the week:
because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
