Have you noticed that the darker the night, the brighter the stars will shine.
It’s in these moments that we realize what we are made of. In the gospel we learn that we are a light to the world. Yes you! You are a light. A shinning beacon of hope for someone who needs to to know they are going to be okay. Though our circumstances may not change, our hearts can. As we’ve said many times before, you are somebody’s answered prayer.
This week your challenge is to let your light (life) shine bright. Even the smallest of lights can be seen in a pitch black dark room. Maybe it’s you that needs to see a light. A bit of hope that will help you in your difficult moment. Remember that even if the light seems small and faint, the more you focus on it the brighter it gets.
Let us not be ashamed of the one who spoke the light into existence and breathed life into each of us. For that, we can be thankful and help as many people as we can discover that same light! Remember that together we will always shine brighter.
Verse of the week:
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven
